About

Hi, I'm Max. I'm a senior at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in the final semester of my bachelor's. Come December '26, assuming all goes well, I'll have completed a B.S. in Computer Science with an A.I. concentration, and a B.S. in Mathematics. I will be continuing at CWRU as I earn my M.S. in Computer Science, with a planned graduation date of August '27.

Since January '26 I have been part of Sumon Biswas' ReSAID lab, focusing on building secure LLM solutions in software engineering. My research has centered around knowledge distillation of open-weight LLMs, and its effects on the frequency of vulnerabilities found in generated code.

Outside of school, I've had the opportunity to work two internships and a co-op: one at Circana's LiquidAI strategy team, and the other at Medpace's clinical informatics (F.K.A. simply informatics) team. During these experiences, I was able to apply many of the concepts learned in theory during my studies, to practice. For more details, please see my resume.
